Software: MudBox, 3DS Max, Photoshop
My attempt on snowy-asteroid-cloudy-space scene...
Asteroids were made in 3DS Max (biggest one in MudBox and 3DS Max) as were the snow particles.
Then I made a little paint over to give it a more painted look.
Resolutions ::
2560x1600 => 1920x1200 | 1680x1050 | 1280x800 | 1440x900
2560x1440 => 1920x1080 | 1366x768 | 1600x900
1920x1536 => 1280x1024
1600x1200 => 1024x768
